We have a vending machine, the dixie narco dncb, that will only take the bill about halfway in and then it stops pulling the bill and will shoot it out. We were wondering what way we should take to get this fixed, or what the problem may be. Thanks in advanced, post any questions and I will get back to it with the answer.

The problem is with your validator (dollar bill acceptor), you might first try using a validator cleaning card, they are cheap (about $1) and you just run them in and out like you would a dollar bill a half dozen times. If that doesn't work you can take your validator out (remove 4 nuts and then unplug the wiring harness from it) and have it repaired at a validator repair shop (cost $50-75 plus parts). A cheaper, and easier route is to buy a used one online in working condition (about $50) or a rebuilt one online with 90 day guarantee (about $75-100). If you decide to buy a validator online be sure to get the exact make and model or you will have to buy a different wiring harness.
