That problem sounds like a bad motor,

a mis-wired motor or a bad logic board.

Are you getting an Error 09 which would indicate a bad motor? Are you getting an Error number between 51 and 56 which indicates the tray associated with the 2nd digit has a bad diode board on it? Do you have an Error 50 which indicates a source driver on the main logic board is bad? Do you have an Error 59 which indicates that motor drive transistor on the main logic board is bad?

To rule out a problem on the shelf that has the bad motor, swap this shelf with another shelf and see if the same bad motor (using the new selection number) still runs backwards. If not then your problem is in the main logic board. If the same motor still runs backwards even though it's in a different shelf position and you use a different selection number to run it, then the diode board on your shelf or the motor itself is bad. To rule out the motor, swap it with another good motor on the shelf. If the good motor now runs backwards in the spot the bad motor WAS in, then the problem is the diode board. If the good motor still works and the bad motor still runs backwards in it's NEW location, then you have a bad motor.

Good luck with your testing and report you findings.
