Vendo H63 Evaporator is freezing

I have a vintage Vendo H63 coke machine that has worked without issue for years. Within the last few days, part of the evaporator has been freezing up. I have cleaned all of the motor parts, checked to make sure both fans are working and cleaned the drain hose. There does not appear to be any leaks around the door seal either. The freeze is only happening in one visible spot (see picture)

I am not very familiar with refridgeration units and was hoping someone on here could offer some help in trying to diagnose the problem.

Thanks
Aaron

That means that your cooling unit is low on freon.

You'll need to call a certified refrigeration tech out to recharge it. If you have an old original compressor then you are probably using R12 in it. The tech can drop MP39 (R401a) on top of the R12 or they might have some R12 they can add to it.
