HELP Identify my machine and few questions

Hey everyone! Just purchased my first machine for my garage! I love it. The plate on the door is missing so I am having a tough time figuring out what model it is. Looking at images online it appears to be a Dixie Narco 276. I'm sure you guys would know more than I would. Machine works pretty good but I do have a few questions if possible.

1) the 2 bigger slots (1 and 2) has to be selected twice to find (inserting money twice). watching the vend motor i think its not turning the correct distance and pressing it twice allows this. any insight will be helpful (i will attach picture of the vend motors)

2) The two bulbs were inoperable when I purchased. I bought two new bulbs however 1 instantly popped. I was going to try another bulb maybe it was a dud but figured I would ask to see if this was another issue I should be looking for.

3) The previous owner made the amount .05 cents. Should I leave this alone or try to set to free vend?

4) how many turns should i turn the t handle. I have read to tight can hurt the seal.

Thanks so much for all advice and info

Matt

Your light blew because you have a bad lamp ballast.

The vend motors in your wide columns are set up to vend 12 oz cans two cans deep in the columns and I would guess you are trying to vend tall beer. You'll need to loosen the screw in the white cams and rotate them so that only two notches show in the edge of the cam for the motor switches to drop into. Then you need to adjust your rear depth spacers forward toward your products so that when the products are pushed against the rear spacers there is only enough room for your fingers to fit between the front of the product and the depressed sold out paddle.

The pricing is set inside your coin mech since this is a single price machine. Flip the coin acceptor down to expose the coin switches behind it and then turn on the switches that add up to the price you want. Switch 1 is .05 and every switch to the right of it doubles in value.

Post a photo of the coin mech if you need more help. I can also send you new lamp ballasts if you want the bulbs to work. Those lamps will also require starter to light the lamps.
