Not sure if this is the correct forum for an older machine like this but I'll give it a try.
I recently acquired this machine and of course was told it worked perfectly. Because of the nature of the deal I have no recourse and I'm stuck with it. I have already refinished the exterior and repaired all the mechs. The original deck is a Tecumseh but the plate is so corroded I cant read it.
I have been in car repair business for 30 years so I'm fairly handy but I'm having problems finding information on what would be the best compressor deck replacement. The one in the machine has no charge and the compressor is locked up. I was going to put this in my office so I would like to replace the assembly for better efficiency and dependability. Anyone have any thoughts?

Annexab,
That is a really old machine, the original compressor deck parts (compressor, etc.) are probably no longer available. I have not worked on that old of a machine, but if it were mine I would remove the compressor deck & take it to a local refrigerator repair place. Chances are good they can find similar size, capacity, etc. parts for your machine., They might be able to even rebuild for you it cheap. I don't usually repair my own refrigeration decks unless it is something simple, cheaper to buy rebuilt decks. Your's is so old it will have to be rebuilt with newer parts.
Good Luck,
