Hey, my coinco ba30 validator is flashing the little red light about a dozen or more times in a row and the label says that is my skew sensors. Can anybody tell me what a skew sensor is, where it is and can I fix myself?

I have put sent this to our shop manager, hope to post some info for you on Monday 01-17-2011
The skew sensors are the 2 front sensors on the upper sensor board. Unfortunately, they cannot be purchased from Coinco. Most sensors on bill acceptors must be a specific color range, intensity ect. We put in many man-hours to figure out some of them and could not find replacements for all. You will probably have to send it to a repair shop. Just make sure they can do board level repairs....
They are probably just dirty and need to be cleaned...Just a thought
