I have a Dixie Narco Pepsi machine. It jammed up at the top of the changer one day, cleared the jam and now it won't accept coins. At first, I could take the relay out and reinsert it and it would take coins for 1 cycle. Then, it would vend and wouldn't take coins again. Pull out the relay and reinsert and it would vend one more time. Now it won't even do that. Won't accept coins at all.
Don't know if it's related, but one of the selections wouldn't work when pressed. It works now, but the coins still go right through. I have a brand new coin mechanism on it.
Thanks, David Bernard
I'll assume we're talking about single price soda machine. So there can be several problems.
First some of the motors may be not working or not in home position. Test if the motors are working by manually pressing one of the microswitches by the cam, and make sure the motor is stopping in the correct position (see pic)the switchs should be like pic one up an one down.
Second the sold out switchers are not working or you lost the connection on the wire or the motors.
Third, it can be bad relay or bad connection on the relay or it could be a bad coin changer. So you have to check each thing one by one until you find the problem. Sorry :(
