miktrov,
Can you tell me the make/model of your machine and the make/model of the coin mech (changer), it will help me give you a better answer.

coin is s75980003, dixie narco 801.804.880.21. So it gets cold all that works. The wheels turn when i push down on the little metal tabs. it worked when I bot it, took home, changed the price to no all way across and could not get it to dispense. I get the lights to go off when I put enough cokes in so i know that works? help thanks daryl

S75 Coinco Coin Mech

miktrov,
Dixie-Narco does not make a model 801 so I will assume you misread it and it is a Dixie-Narco model 501. Since you have an OLD S-75 coinco single-price coin mech in it, and you said it worked in that machine when you bought it, so I will also assume that it is a single-price 501 because a S-75 will not work in a multi-price 501. Single-price 501's are not as common as multi-price 501's but they made some. There are 2 types of switches on those old Coinco S-75's some models had 4 black and white switches (DOWN = OFF) and some had 5 dip-switches in a bank (push bottom of dip-switch IN = OFF), make sure you did not set them accidently to ON. You also need to unplug and re-plug the coin mech in after setting a new price. Also they don't work correctly with the pay out tubes empty, you need some coins in there (1/4 to 1/3 full).
The manual for your Coinco S75 is right over in our manuals section here in pdf:
http://www.vend-resource.com/book/coinco-s-75-9800-coin-mechanism-servic...
Try these ideas, if they don't fix it get back to me,

Vending

Daryl, thanks for the manual, so i have the amount correct to none, as you stated, shut off, then set and pluged in. now i put coins in just go right through. I get the light in each pad to go off when I push the filled indicators down or put cans in, but still does not dispense. there is a few loose wires at the top i have a picture of not sure where they go if anywhere, i did not unplug, not sure if the guy i bot from did when he showed me where to change the change? cant figure out why none of the shoots will dispense?

not vending

Daryl, thanks it appears as though the coin is set correct, now I set to zero, pluged in and all the quarters just flow through. seems like the signal not getting from the selection paddle to the dispense mechanism? what would cause that? also i took a photo of a little switch, not sure where it goes, again this worked when I bot it, literally hours before I moved it? any thoughts or do I pay someone to come check it? thanks again for help.

Hanging switch and wires?

miktrov,
A several things come to mind:

1. If you set the price to zero the quarters should fall through.

2. That switch looks like it should be connected to a selection motor, check and see if all of your selection motors have all of there switches.

3. That switch might be part of a hack a previous owner did for some reason. In that case you need someone to check the wiring against the schematic for the machine to see what was done.

4. Is this machine now or was it ever a Coke machine?
If it was a Coke machine that switch and wires may have went to a special solenoid that changed back and forth from the first column to the second column on Coke machines because Coke was loaded into both columns and vended from one selection button (the first one). From the pic it looks like the switch was near the coin mech and upper part of the machine, this is where the Coke column selector stuff was usually located, parts of it may have fallen off.

No dispense - all buttons.

Unit did work fine after a long sit. Needed refigerant charge but cools ok now. All lights operate. All buttons did function fine, no coins required. Always used from new as personal at-home unit. I am second owner. Model no. DNCB 276M / 162 - 6 PE 2369
S/N 1082 - 3057 CM
Discovered one of the soda cans had lodged on lower mechanism. I cleared the jam up. Have unplugged it from wall outlet and repowered, but can not diagnose further. Help?
Buttons started to quit one at a time, did not fail all at once. Button troubles may have been caused by can jam up, did not start looking for cause until all buttons ceased working.
