Good afternoon all, I recently purchased a used coke 9 selection dn 501 for my warehouse running the PPE distribution and National Guard assistance. The machine cools and lights up well. Original issue thought that the bill acceptor was no good so it was replaced with a BP4BX from coinco. The machine currently displays the following numbers on the LED, 0294, BUAL(bill validator), 0002, 2742, colj (column jam), 8890, 9090& 2744.
Can someone advise/help on what or how to clear these numbers? I ran through the errors and only one column is jammed but I test it and spins fine. Any help appreciated as I can't any repairmen in my state.
ndy1er,
The error 'col jam' means the vend motor on a selection is did not return to home position, usually because of a jammed can/bottle. You tell which column is the probllem by removing the the vend motor cover and looking for the microswitch that is not in a notch on the cam. The solution is covered in this post here:

Bill Acceptor error. I will have to assume that you have late model DN501 vending machine with an MDB bus. While the bill acceptor could be bad, it is also possible that the 'dip switches' are set wrong. You check the switch settings in it's manual. The Coinco Bill Pro bill acceptor/validator manual is located here:

Hope this helps,
