I have acquired a Vendo 407 machine and I am having a problem with it not vending product. I can put the money in and hear the credit relay trip, it disconnects the dollar bill acceptor, but will not vend any product no matter which selection button is pushed. I do know that right before it quit working, any of the selection buttons had to be pushed multiple time to get any selection to vend, that problem occurred for about a day before it quit working, before this it worked perfectly. Any ideas on how to fix this? Thanks, Brent
Fireash,
I would check the vend relay (solenoid), sometimes they can make the 'click' sound but still not trigger a vend. They are easy to replace, they just plug in, and are relatively cheap ($10-$20).
Let me know if that doesn't help.

VendingMix, I purchased a new vend relay and it is still the same, I can watch the relay click but when I go to select the product nothing works. The only way that I can cancel out the relay is to unplug the machine or the relay.
Fireash,
Sorry I did not notice your reply, if the vend relay did not work then the only thing else it could be is a short in the wiring. Specifically in the power going to the vend motors, I would start at the vend relay and look for short going to the motors. Your machine is a single price machine so it is wired in series, it makes finding a short a little easier.
