I recently adjusted a rear spacer on a Dixie Narco Series 90 single price five pop machine. After adjusting this rear spacer, the machine will accept coins, the relay is activated and it will now only dispense items from the slot that was changed. I have tried putting the spacer back to where it was originally located and have had no luck. I'm not sure why I thought this would help since there are no wires, just the pinch pins and have had no luck. There are no out of product lights activated and the motors are working fine when the pin is lifted on the motor. I've tried everything I know to do and havce no luck in reasearching the issue. On a second note, when a product is out, the out of product light does come on but flashes randomly. Any ideas for this as well?
Benjmystr,
The rear spacer has nothing to do with your problem. The problem is a short or broken connection in one of 3 places:
1. the sold out micro-switches and wiring
2. the motor micro-switches and wiring
3. the selection switches and wiring
There is no magic short cut to finding the short, you just have to start checking each of those things one by one with a multi-tester.
Sorry :(
