Dixie Narco DN 276E vends wrong product

I have a DN 276E. When I press any product button the wrong column is activated. Some buttons just alternate between 2 products and at least 1 rotates between 3. It was working fine until a few days ago then all of a sudden "goofy". I can't locate a manual online and don't know much about this model. Any ideas where to start?

If your selections are all off by one column as you go down

the door, then you probably have a bad membrane switch assy. You have a selection switch membrane if you do not have individual selection switches behind each selection button. The membrane is like a ribbon cable that runs down behind all the buttons. When they fail the selections will usually be off by one column each but other symptoms can also develope. Send me an Email if you need a switch membrane for your machine and I can ship one to you.

I thought about this a bit more and it actually sounds like

your machine has instituted it's own space-to-sales setting. Space-to-sales is a setting that allows you to program any button to any column(s). What you describe is one button programmed to two columns and one button programmed to three columns. I'm sure you don't want it setup this way so you can try resetting the logic board to clear all programming in it. You do this by pressing and holding the service mode button on the logic board for 3 minutes. When you release it the display will confirm that the board's memory is erased. You will then need to program your pricing again and then try vending all selections to see if the machine works correctly. If this doesn't fix the issue and if you don't have the issue I described in my post above, or if this problem reoccurs later, then you will need to replace the logic board.

You can email me for a new board as well if that is needed.

Thanks AZ Vender

AZ my apologies for not reposting sooner. I'm new to this forum and Ive been waiting for an email to tell me someone replied to my post. I'll give your suggestion a try. It sounds like you're a supplier. Would you by chance have access to a service manual you'd be willing to sell a copy of? I'll try the memory dump tomorrow and let you know how that works! Thanks again.

You can use the Vending Library link at the top of this page

and then select the top link of vending manuals. When that page opens you can scroll down to the Dixie Narco SIID 2 button and 4 button (Coke door) manuals and download them to your computer. I am a service tech and a parts supplier so if there's anything you need you can email me for information.

Thanks AZ worked like a charm!

Reset memory and everything works as it should. I'll keep an eye on it and if it does it again I'll replace the controller. Thanks again AZ Vendor.
