coin mech

I have a question about the coin co coin machs. I was wondering if I go in my machines from one that accepts just quarters, dimes, nickels. To one that accepts those plus $1 coins meaning it has a chute for those also, do I need to change the setting on the machine or bill acceptor too when I change it over?

Every late model Coinco and Mars coin mech is already

tuned to accept the dollar coin and they can handle coins of that size. If your coin mech won't accept the dollar coin then it may need to have the Dollar switch turned on behind the acceptor, or it needs to be repaired. There is no setting in the machine or bill acceptor that has anything to do with the dollar coins.
