Hello. Recently i have decided to use an older machine that my father had at his apartment complex a few years back and put it at my current complex instead of it sitting in a garage. The machine was running for a few years in the garage but we eventually unplugged it since it wasnt being used. A few weeks back i hooked it up and all the fans ran and i tested both coins and bills and it vended with no issue. It was incredibly dusty inside so i started to blow it out with the compressor and in the process i wanted to figure out how to change the price from .60 to .75. Well of course, as soon as i mess with the dip switches the machine will no longer accept coins.
Today we moved the machine to my complex and hooked it up, put new bulbs in it and filled it with product. I found the original manual and the coin co manual as well assuming i could find the issue. Well i couldn't find the programming pins to short out assuming i messed up the coin machine. i unpluged the fat control module plug and removed the middle plug that feeds up to the bill exchanger and emptied all the coins from the coin machine. Once plugged back in the correct change light came on and flashed then stayed solid. i was able to put in .75 and it vended once. I could not get it to accept change again and it kept passing it to the return. I am at a loss with this and could really use a hand. I want to call the dixie narco troubleshooting line tomorrow and see if they can give a hand.
Also, it ran for 4 hours today and never got cold. All fans are running as well as the compressor but im getting ice build up on the line feeding to the evaporator. Assuming its low on freon. This thing is becoming an immediate headache.

You need to get a certified vending refrigeration tech out to recharge it. The vending and coin issue is probably a motor not at home. This will be found by looking at all the motor timing cams and finding the one that has both motor switch arms in the notch of the cam. That is the bad motor you should replace.
