Ok Everyone I'm Mike I Am New Here First Post Actually! I Also am new to the business, I have messed with vending machines off and on for years but this is the first time I am actually going to place one for a bar I frequent and help at they just needed something for snacks. So I purchased this old lance machine was fully working tested each selection and everything worked. I changed the prices from .50 and .75 cents via the 10 rocker switches behind the coinco to .85 and 1.00 and was testing each selection out by putting coins in and vending each selection from #1 to where it just stopped vending period at #8 I think it is. I tried spinning the helixs they all spin up to that one by starting to turn it by hand until the motor spins it rest of way. Now the machine wont even accept coins at all. (NO BILL VALIDATOR) If anyone can lead me in the right direction before I buy a motor cause that's only thing I can think of?
mikehenry1990,
That is a pretty old machine. I never had that model, but I have had old vending machines of similar make/model. I do know those old machines were wired in series, that means when a selection got stuck in mid cycle, nothing after that selection would work. So, I would see if that non-working selection's microswitches & cams were stopped in the correct position (look at the working ones & compare). Also look for disconected/broken/loose wires to motor & microswitches.
Sorry I can't be more help, but I havn't had a machine like that in 20 years.

I will do that tomorrow, thank you. I will update what my findings are.
