Coinco 3000 Series Replacement

We have an older machine that has a Coinco 3000 Series coin receptor. Can we replace the 3000 Series with a 9300 Series? Are they the same connections? The machine is dropping coins straight through. I unplugged and plugged back in but same thing. We are going to replace the coin receptor to see if that is the problem but I can't seem to find a new 3000 Series to purchase.

You can use a 9300 series Coinco.

You can use a 9300 series Coinco in place of a 3000 series (3340s e.g.). But if you have a bill acceptor you may need a new wiring harnes for it it plug to the 9300 series coin mech. You should ask your parts supplier, for the correct wire harness to the brand and model of bill acceptor you have.
