Ground Fault Interruptor (GFI)

I recently bought 2 new Royal 650’s. They came with Ground Fault Interrupters (GFI’s) built on to the end of the plug-in. Has anybody had trouble with this type of GFI tripping, say after it rains? Sometimes I find them tripped even if it hasn’t rained. I’m wondering if it wouldn’t be better to replace the plug end with a standard plug and replace the outlet with a GFI…Any and all suggestions will be greatly appreciated.

GFI on a Royal plug end

kick88,
Those GFI's might be just doing their job. You might have a short in the machine somewhere.
