Hi,
I have a Shoppertron 430 vending machine that I haven't been using. I have decided recently that I would like to re-purpose it to sell candy. The problem is, the built-in health-check system automatically stops the machine from selling if the temperature rises above 7 degrees. Obviously nobody likes cold candy.
Is there a way to either raise the allowed temperature or to completely disable this temperature check?
Hi, I would really appreciate any info on how to solve this problem. Has anyone ever had to deal with something similar?

According to the National 430 manual (available right here: http://www.vend-resource.com/book/national-430-shoppertron-set-manual ) on page 2 in figure 1-1 it shows the health switch low just inside the cabinet (see drawing in manual) since it is a switch it is either wired open or closed (on or off), that is; switch open (on) is either temp ok or not, reverse for closed. You should be able to experiment with connecting the wires together (open) or apart (closed) and one way or the other should achieve what you want, the machine thinking the temp is ok.
